Sleepy Saturday

My dad has a family bible that was left to him from his mom. It really meant a lot to my dad because it was something that his mom and him would read, just the two of them. We ended up getting it a few years after she died, we've had it now for over 15 years! When we got it, it was falling apart. The bible has sat in a paper bag, in the closet for almost 10 years. It really was in such bad condition, no one wanted to look at it because of the fear of destroying it. For Christmas my mom said we should restore it for my dad. So I looked into it and found a guy in the city who does that kind of work. It was hella expensive but we did it. My mom and I picked it up today and I just got done looking through it. Check out the pictures at the bottom. The bible is mostly in black and white but it does have some color pictures. My favorite part is the births and deaths section (it's the next page after the second picture, below.) It was updated until the 1970's most of all the writing is in my grandmothers beautiful handwriting.

It's not the fact it's a bible that impresses me, it's the fact that it has been in my family for over 100 years. Also, I am so much like my grandmother. She was so creative, she painted, made ceramics... I could have learned so much from her. It's not fair that she died when I was just 3 years old, I didn't get to know her but life's not fair, I know that.

I can't wait for my dad to get home from work to see it!

It looks like I am going snowboarding tomorrow!!! I am sooo excited. No offense Jeremy, I am extra excited because Dani and Will are going! I always have a lot of fun when we get together with them, they add extra awesomeness to the adventure! I know I am going to take a ba-zillion pictures and I will for sure add them to my snapfish (yeah, I started using snapfish...) eh, it kinda sucks.

I got a lot of shit yesterday at the gym. Bob the GM and a horrible Steelers fan, gave me shit all day (don't worry I dished it out too) but so did the members! I wore my Ray Lewis jersey (PROUDLY) because I love my team! No, they didn't go to the Superbowl or win the division but I love them win or lose! Also, I have started to hate the Cowboys. Before I had respect for them because they were Jerms team, unless they played my boys, it wasn't a problem. It has become a problem for 2 reasons. 1. That bitch ass Jerry Jones requested the Ravens as the team to play in the last game in Texas Stadium. Why do you say? Well Jerry Jones thought his Cowboys could for sure win against the Ravens. Well obviously he was wrong! Maybe he should have requested to play the Lions. 2. It is RUMORED they will offer MY BELOVED Ray Lewis 25 million to play for the Cowboys. (Dearest Ray, Please don't leave Baltimore, Love Erin)

My momma made Cinnabon Cinnamon Streussel Cake and it is done and smells amazingggg, time to sneak a piece. :)

Jeremy and I are stuck in a routine.
Monday-Thursday: Wake up early, drive to work, work, drive home, go to sleep.
Friday: Jerms works at the plant, EK at SPRFC. We normally don't do much on Friday nights... Hang out with friends... something like that.
Saturday: Jerms works at BB, EK usually sleeps in, cleans, runs errands etc.
Sunday: (used to watch football) Typically run errands, nothing exciting.
Today I was bitching because I am boreddd. So we decided to spice things up and use Sunday as our fun day. We are going to be doing fun new things every (most) Sundays.
I think this Sunday we are going snowboarding!!! I am so excited! I went skiing (if you can call it that) once when I was like 13. We (the fam) had all the equipment, we get to the resort and put all the crap on. I take 2 steps out of the lodge, fall over, take off my ski's and get back into the lodge. The End! Skiing trip for me, over!
Right now I am checking for ski resorts close by but I am really excited about this!

Today sucks.

That's a picture of the Obama water that Jeremy sold and was on TV. Also please note the snow coming down outside the plant. It's coming down pretty hard now and is sticking to the ground... great.
I'm feeling pretty shitty today. Last night my boys lost to my most hated Steelers and to nurse my sadness last night, I drank! So I feel like butt today. I hate the Steelers so much. It's not that we lost, that happens, it's who we lost to. We had a great season, thank you Ravens for that but why did we have to lose to those bitches. Ick.
My friend Pammy came over last night. We were going to go to Owings Mills mall where the Ravens were meeting up with fans (at like 1am) but we ended up not going. No need to comment on this paragraph.
I am grumpy today... I know I've said that a few times but I really am.
On the way to work Jerms and I were talking about how I hold grudges. It really is something I can not control, it is part of my personality. When you wrong me and apologize, I don't accept it. I may say I do but I really don't. This is why I don't have a bunch of friends, which is fine by me.
I hate confrontations and I am about to have one. They make me uncomfortable and I would prefer to just ignore people.
I dropped my beloved Paula cat off at the vet this morning. They are going to monitor her and her sugar or insulin levels (or something), idk. I hate the fact we have to give her a shot everyday.
I am taking an illustrator class at AACC, it starts tomorrow night. I'm kinda excited about it. I hate just being idle. I want to keep learning new things. On top of learning (more in depth) illustrator, I am going to find an advanced digital photography class. Then I swear I will travel and take pictures. That has always been my dream.

Week Wrap Up

I am currently VERY excited because our water (Jeremy's sale) was just on abc 2 news! Obama Water! How bad ass is that?
The Jerms and I are back from Vegas. We had so much fun, together that is...
Our feelings towards some people have changed but I am not about to write about it in a blog, at least not right now. I will write about it eventually but the wound is to fresh and mostly anger would just come out.
The first day we were there (Saturday, Jan 17th) we saw my boys (The Baltimore Ravens) beat the Titans! It was amazing!! We watched the game at the Belligo and met some cool people. Let me say, I was the only person there in a Ravens Jersey (my Ed Reed one.) It's ok though, Jerms and I held our own! We were so happy the Ravens won and we celebrated accordingly! Later that night (and after may beers) we saw the Cirque du Soleil show, Love. It was also amazing! I must say that was the best day in Vegas!
Second day, we got breakfast with Jerms fam. Then we went to Toby Keith's bar to watch the Steelers sadly beat the Chargers. Ick, I hate the Steelers. Again, we met up with Jerms fam to grab dinner. Jerms and I went our separate ways, me with the girls Jerms with the boys. The girls went to TAO (a trendy restaurant) then to some clubs. We were treated like celebrities, I think the girls ended up getting at least 5 bottles of free vodka. (Thanks to Ashley we also got a $900 bottle of champagne free, I can't write how she got that. What happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas!) I'll let Jerms tell you what the boys did.. :)
Third day, Jerms and I went to the stratosphere. We took lot's of pictures and grabbed lunch. They had the best food and service in Vegas! I had to be back to the casino salon so they could charge me way too much money for something ugly, whatever. The wedding was at 5pm. After the wedding stuff, Jerms, Steph, Katie T and I went to O'sheas bar for $2 Millers. We ran into a Bachelor party where they bought all of us drinks(Jeremy too). It was an absolute blast!
Fourth Day, after a rough start Jerms and I went sightseeing. We ran into Ashley and Vince and they joined us. I think we walked over 10 miles! Later Sarah, Jerms and I went to Freemont Street and saw a topless Jubilee.
We flew home on the fifth day.
I left out a bunch of details, mostly because they are blurry (thanks to a lot of alcohol), peoples feelings, and really... it's none of your business!
I took so many pictures and today I went to Michael's and bought a scrapbook. Jeremy and I are going to spend one night putting it together. Although Vince said "Jeremy if you scrapbook, I won't be your friend." Oh well.
Time to watch How I Met Your Mother with my love.

I need to write a blog...

EHHH! I would really like to restart today over! If that were possible I would make these changes.
I would still have gone tanning at 10am, that was good.
I would have cancelled my hair appointment because like everytime I go, I don't like hair. This time I am going to be in a wedding on Monday (leaving for Vegas tomorrow) and now I am unhappy with my hair. WTF is up with these stupid little bangs that poke me right in my eye?
YOU know what else pisses me off, the fact that when I just wrote cancelled and everytime, the little red "hey your stupid line" showed up underneath the word. I clicked it and said it was spelled canceled. Hey word checker thing, you are wrong, NOT me!
I would also change the fact that I got the news from the vet my cat has diabetes (thank you spell checker for telling me how to spell that correctly.) As most know my dog Harley had diabetes and he is now dead. I spoil my Paula cat. I give her treats, yummy food and table scraps (not like all the time but sometimes... I guess the fact she has diabetes is 100% my fault by bribing her love.) So yeah, I have to take her yummy food from her, say no when she looks at me when I'm eating and her treats she gets when she is good! She is going to hate me. Because NOW I have to give her shitty health, diet food and 2 needles a day! I am very upset about this... Emotional breakdown number 3 of the day!
I have to go get a manicure & pedicure. With my luck, I am going to get some foot disease from the pan they soak your feet in and perhaps somehow I will also lose a finger! Hopefully not the middle... I use that one too much.
