I live in FL

The details are kinda fuzzy, but it went like this...
I quit BISM on October 10th.
Sheehan and I took a week vacation to Clearwater Beach a few days before that and loved it.
I remained unemployed for a few months and felt worthless and my life began to spiral down depression drive.
Sheehan and I started to unravel. We planned another vacation to FL the second week in January. His friend died. We broke up. We started talking. He had a week off work (because we had planned the vacation... obviously I had off, still unemployed.) I woke up on Saturday and decided I wanted a Maine lobster. My dad told me it just snowed in Maine. I decided I wanted warmth over cold. Our plans shifted back to FL. We got here on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Sheehan had a job and I had an interview on Friday. The one date I am positive about is January 21st. We were moving into our awesome apartment and I was working that night. I'm positive because that was Lucys birthday.
I really like my job. I do all the admin work at a restaurant directly on the beach. I am the only girl manager with 4 guys. I do everything in the office, Payroll, accounting, inventory, checking orders, etc... I work 7am - to when I get done. I also am the promotions gal. I like this part of it, a lot. Finally using that degree.
Anyways, I like it here. A lot. People here, they are happier and kind. I'm sitting on MY balcony typing this.
I live in paradise and made a life changing decision, that people think I'm crazy for making. If you were shocked by my decision, than you never really knew me.

Sponteous or not

Writing this post from the road, Georgia to be exact. Woke up yesterday in an argument with Sheehan, somehow worked through the non-sense to talk about taking a road trip, until Saturday. This was the week we were going to FloRida to do the relocating thangs, but because of "foolishness" moving was scraped. Anyways we decided to just take a mini-roadtrip. For some reason I had it in my mind that I wanted to go to Maine for a lobster, completely random. Sheehan wanted to swing by NYC for a slice of pizza and Philly for a cheesesteak, food runs our lives and makes our decisions. I started packing; 18 pairs of socks, 27 pairs of sweats and I thought what hell, I'm not going North, I hate the cold, I'm going South. Bam, I packed shorts, my bathing suit, flip flops... Left at 9pm and drove until 5am, pulled over at a rest stop in SC, laid down in the backseat and slept so well, I couldn't believe it. I woke up at 9:45, completely rested! It's cool that Sheehan and I are so go with the flow. I think that's one of my favorite things and the fact he would jeopardize his comfort for mine. Gotta love that. I want to write about one of the greatest weekends of my life. Saturday Missy came to town for our sushi class. It wasn't the class that was so awesome, as Missy and I could have taught the freaking class. It was just the fact that I had a good time with a good friend. Sheehan and I have been having major relationship failure and I just enjoyed being happy during Missy's visit. We met Megan for a drink and it was so much fun. The following day, Jeremy invited me to the Ravens-Houston playoff game. Single handedly the best Ravens game I have ever been to. Section 130, row 9; Ray Lewis! T-Sizzle, Rice, Reed, my boys were so close I could see their faces, the sideline, the sweet dance moves. I was so excited that they introduced Ray. I have never been a game that he was introduced. That man is, in my eyes, the greatest football player to set food on a field in the history of this world. He is the reason I am a football/ Baltimore Ravens fan. I truly enjoyed sitting with some of the greatest people I have ever met, Will & Mike Jones and Dani. It was cold, but I definitely planned for it. 30 degrees or something? My toes got cold towards the end of the 4th, but went away when I moved around. Game was awesome, not the prettiest W, but nonetheless. I often feel sorry and get down on myself. However, the fact I can wake up and decide to go on a road trip at 29 years old after having an amazing weekend with amazing people, should be a swift kick to my face, that I am truly a very lucky girl. On a random note, listening to sports radio in Georgia and the broadcaster ranked Bmore as the #4 team (1. 49ers, 2. Giants 3. Patriots) and with a grain of salt say, Bmore could beat all three, they are just inconsistent on the road is such a bad ass feeling. Hopefully my next advantage post will be me getting tickets to Indi and watching my boys grasp the trophy at the end of this season. Fingers crossed.

A Whole Lot of Nothing

I haven't "blogged" in awhile, but that's clearly because I do not have much going on.
Wake up, piddle shit around (play on pinterest,) usually make dinner, go to bed. Repeat.
My intentions are good each day to do something, but nothing occurs. I really need to get it together.

Happy House Warming Jeremy

I made Jeremy a house warming present. Years ago I wanted to make a World Canvas Art Piece, but never did. I showed Jeremy the world map and he liked it.

The Project Began...

First, I ordered the above map of Texas from Zazzle.

Second, I went to Michael's and sent about an hour laying out the canvas'.

Third, I cut the map per the canvas size.

Fourth, I painted the edges and sides of the canvas. I later went back and darker this color and added some highlight colors, used on the map.

Lastly, the above is the finished product. I used mod podge to seal the map to the canvas and a semi-gloss to coat the map. To get the edges of the map to lay down just right, I ruined my moms iron and ironed all the edges of the map.
There is another part to the map. I found a quote that I wanted to add to the top, but I have been to four Michael's and they do not have any wooden i letters. I'm not sure if I'm going to add it to the present... Haven't decided.

I'm going to be 29 in one month...

Living at home with my parents, no job, no "career," not married-or even close to marriage, no kids (rarity,) and no freaking purpose... and I'm almost 29.
I've been awake for an hour (yup woke up at 10:30) and I've already been slammed with BS. Remember the issue with the customers contacting me hating their service? Well my dad sent the email trail to the president of Blind. Can I tell you how stupid they are? I swear, they blamed the sales guy, Buck for this. He was not even involved in the email chain. I was blamed for mis-handling the situation. I don't even work for their company anymore. The uneducated, fat, worthless division manager, John W. responded with a prissy ass, bitch response about "that is how Erin handled situations." I am so furious, I want to explode. This just reminds me how thankful I am, not to be involved with those (excuse my language) M F'ers ANYMORE!!! AHHH! I'm angry also because my mom just slams with me the response to the emails and expects me not to say anything to them because they have to keep a relationship with them.
F their relationship with those do nothing, stupid, bull shitting, asshole people, who have done NOTHING for us. I really don't like them.
This, THIS is why on Sunday, Sheehan and I are driving to FL. Steve, our friend who owns Jollimons in Dunedin, wants to open a second restaurant and wants us to run it. I'm skeptical about this yes, but trying to stay open minded because let's be honest, it's all I have right now.
If we go to FL and things don't go the way I want, I know what I am going to do... I was watching TV with Sheehan last night and made the decision; if him and I don't move to FL, right after Christmas, I'm traveling. I'm going to get in my car and travel the country. I have enough money saved to get me by, for a few months. I will probably sell my car to get me a few more months. I will hopefully find somewhere along the way, I like. Sheehan said he's down for the adventure.
